Things to remember

  • It’s good to try and arrive at least 10mins early for your class, so you can take your time getting to your mat without feeling rushed.

  • It is best not to eat 1.5 to 2 hrs before a class, however if you are someone who needs to eat more regularly than that, experiment with a very light snack (eg yoghurt, nuts or juice) no less than 30mins before the class.

  • Please turn your phone off or have it on silent. When you enter the yoga studio, please be mindful that this room is a quiet, reflective place…so please keep voices and noise to a minimum, and feel welcome to catch-up with friends before or after class, on the lawn outside. 

  • Yoga can be practiced during pregnancy (if you already had a yoga practice before you became pregnant) but it’s best to wait until after the first trimester. There are certain postures that cannot be done (or need to be modified) while pregnant, so please inform your teacher before class. 

  • We have all the props you may need during your class, including bolsters, blocks, straps and padded mats for your knees.
